As long as it won't shrink later, you are totally good! Satin or silk can be really fun, or other shiny fabrics. Or, if your machine can handle it, a thinner piece of leather would be SO COOL!
Other than white fabric, is there any specifics as far as fabric content (100% cotton, muslin, has grid, etc)??
