Hi! MJ here. Each birthstone block is 17" square. The Jewel Box quilt shown on the cover of each Birthstone block is about 57" x 75". Some people put the Birthstones on point and it results in a gorgeous, huge quilt. See Julia Graves' lovely design at http://www.mjkinman.com/additional-projects.
