The cork is adhered to the hooped Sticky+ (after the release sheet is torn away) and then embroidered. This is called "hoopless" embroidery - not because you don't use a hoop but because you don't hoop the fabric. It is a perfect technique for any bulky fabric that might show hoop marks or an item that simply can't be hooped.
