That's always an option. That is certainly my preference, especially if there is a print beneath. You can use Sulky Tender Touch for that. It doesn't make it feel stiff. https://www.sulky.com/item/sulky-tend...
On lighter colored fabric that over laps a darker print, do you recommend adding a fusible stabilizer/liner so the darker fabric doesn't show through the appliqué piece?
