Traditional serger cone thread is generally weaker than sewing thread. This is not such an issue with sergers since you are using multiple threads to construct the seam. So technically yes you can sew with it on a regular sewing machine but the seam will not be as strong. For additional thread information, check out https://www.sulky.com/resources/free-...
