It definitely does. It's a 12 wt acrylic, much heavier thread than say a 40 wt. You should use a 16/100 Topstitch needle. Filaine is available in 129 colors and can be found at https://www.sulky.com/catalog/items/s...
Does the filaine thread require a larger eye needle?
