Paper Solvy generally dissolves very quickly in warm water. However, because there's a wood pulp component, it's very important to thoroughly rinse the item until there's no slippery residue remaining. If there is some remaining product, it will likely be the wood pulp (paper) and will be almost impossible to remove once dry.
