Set top tension on a lower setting: 1-2 numbers down for Original, and 2-4 for Holoshimmer & Sliver. Sew slower. The bobbin thread should be about a 60 wt. Hoop fabric tautly. Stabilize properly - since metallics hate abrasion, avoid stiff, coarse stabilizers. Avoid short, tiny stitches because all metallics simply don't bend well into small stitches. Use Sliver & Holoshimmer on a vertical spool pin with a felt pad underneath, which allows the spool to turn while stitching.
