What tension setting is recommended for quilting with specialty threads?

The top tension is not only affected by the tension assembly (or assemblies) on your machine, but anything that causes drag or pressure anywhere in the thread path adds tension. When using a heavy thread, such as Sulky 12 wt. Cotton, on some machines you'll loosen the top tensions slightly. On others you may need to tighten it a bit. With metallics loosen 1 or 2 numbers. With flat metallics (like Sliver or Holoshimmer) probably more.
