Sulky Puffy Foam is a special foam that is made especially for use on sewing and embroidery machines that adds beautiful dimension to your designs. It is not "craft" foam, which should not be used. It creates a raised look to satin-stitch type stiches which is very appealing. Puffy Foam comes in 2mm and 3mm thicknesses. You can stack them if your machine will tolerate that much thickness. You want to choose satin-stitch type elements that do not have a fill stitch (which would mash down the foam). For best results, seek designs and fonts that are especially digitized for Puffy Foam.
