I assume you mean free-standing lace? If so, then you can use either Sulky Ultra Solvy (1 layer) or Sulky Fabri-Solvy (2 layers). It's always a good idea to use what the designer recommends either a film type (Ultra Solvy) or a fabric type (Fabri-Solvy). They often digitize for one or the other (or at least prefer it). When I don't know, I use 2 layers of Fabri-Solvy.
You can use any of our stabilizers for in-the-hoop projects, depending on the project. The instructions will likely tell you a tear-away (Sulky Tear-Easy or Stiffy) or a cut-away (Sulky Soft 'n Sheer or Cut-Away Plus).
