We’re sorry that we ran out of tee-shirt kits, but we are working to replenish them now, and as soon as we know when they will be available we will immediately let you know and allow you to order again at the webinar sale price.
Predicting the number of kits we will sell is very difficult as we have seen wildly different results from event to event. In this case, we did not want to “oversell” (back-order) as we did not know when the fabric would be back in stock from So Sew English. We’re sure you’re aware of the global inventory crisis that has affected most of us this in some way past year. The follow-up email was automated and we did not react quickly enough to stop it. For that we are so sorry. The same goes for any automated cart abandonment emails. We have no way to stop those from going out. With this one item going out of stock mid-event, many people had the item in their carts and could not complete the order – which we found was another hidden issue with our brand new website, and it is being rapidly addressed.
We sincerely apologize for these issues. We love our customers, and we want them to ALWAYS be pleased with both the quality and service we offer…every time!
With the new website launch a month ago, there has been a few glitches, most of them quite minor, unlike this one involving the webinar event. We know a lot of frustration followed, and we appreciate your patience; but we also got a lot of wonderful comments about the event itself, and we thank you for that.
Please know we will do everything we can to correct these issues and make this up to you in a fair and equitable way.
