I asked Ellen March if you could do free-motion embroidery or applique, or something else on this and she said:
Yes. Or hand embroidery using a design of her choice.
BUT, I will say this – the embroidery is entirely optional and the supplies for embroidery are NOT included in the kit. That’s why the kit is so affordable! They will get a spool of construction thread and a spool of 30 wt Blendables for the quilting. If they want machine embroidery, they have to buy stabilizer and a palette or use supplies they already have. All that to say, the webcast really focuses more on constructing the pouch, rather than embroidering.
