What kind of receiving fabric are you using? Sometimes it helps to heat the receiving surface up with the iron immediately before doing the transfer.
What kind of paper?
Sometimes the tips can dry out, although this doesn't seem to be the case, you can remove the tip holding the pen tip up; place the pen tip-up in a cup or glass so that the ink does not leak out; run the tip under some water to saturate it; roll it in a paper towel and replace. (It's the same theory that damp sponges absorb more.)
Once I know the answer to my questions above, I will be able to help you more. I'm thinking it may be the receiving fabric or the paper being used, because to have all five pens behave this way would be very strange, and you did say there was ink in the tip.
