I'm not sure what bead weaving is, but the flat metallic threads like Sliver and Holoshimmer are not strong like a polyester or a cotton. They're plenty strong to be used on a sewing machine, but that translates differently to hand work. They would be beautiful though. It will depend on much stress you put on the thread. Remember, too, this is a flat (not round) thread. That might make it more challenging for very small beads. I would say pick up a spool at JoAnns, and see if you like it for the beading technique. If not, you can always gift it to a sewing friend.
