This is my first time using Sticky Fabri-Solvy. I used it as a template on cotton batik on an art quilt, which I cannot wash because of running. I have tried everything I have read about to remove the residue in the stitches and nothing has worked!
I tried:
- Gentle dabbing with a warm, wet terrycloth towel
- Ironing over a damp paper towel- both of these methods removed large scraps but not the residue
- Ironing over a damp terrycloth- this did nothing
- Coating a tennis ball with Fabri-Solvy scraps, dampening it, and applying to the residue- this did nothing.
Help! I had read before starting that this project was easy to remove, but this has become a nightmare...
