why is my sulky variegated thread breaking every couple of inches? finished first spool with no problems.
second spool is same lot as first. am halfway through my top stitching on a Laura Heine applique piece.

Something may have changed between the first spool and the second. It could be your needle, I would try that first, and check to see if there are any burrs on your bobbin or throat plate. What spool position are you using? You can reply to me directly at info@sulky.com.
