Sulky Tear-Easy Stabilizer - White - 12'' x 11 yd. Roll
Tearing away this EASY tear-away is very difficult and stitches (heavy topstitching thread) did get pulled. Is this the wrong product for use on TOP of my project? Did I mis-understand?

Sulky Tear-Easy is one of the lightest tear-aways available today. We do use it frequently in several layers, but it's almost always used as a backing stabilizer. It can be used as a topper in some instances (but I would prefer a water soluble, which pulls away easier and needs no rinsing). The issue with it on top is the stitches have to be very even and longer in length in order for the Tear-Easy to release well. Tear-Aways on top are not the best choice for that reason. If you're using it for a design template, I think you would prefer using the lightest water soluble, or the second lightest Super Solvy instead. We can carry this on further if you like...just send me an email at info@sulky.com. If I know more about why you're using this on the top, I can advise you better.
