Totally Stable Iron on Tear Away Stabiliizer
I am embroidering a flour sack towel. I was told I should use 2 pieces of tear-away stabilizer given my stitch count aprox. 16,000. Would two pieces of sulky be strong enough, or should I use one heavier stabilizer and one piece of Sulky Totally Stable Iron-On Tear Away? I was also told to use Terial Magic to stabilize my fabric in addition to 2 pieces of stabilizer. Can this Sulky tear away stabilizer be used with Terial Magic?

I would use 2 pieces of Sulky Tear-Easy if you have it. You can use Totally Stable, too, in two layers - just iron one on top of the other (with a warm NOT HOT iron), or don't even iron them on and just hoop them, if it's easier. That's a very small design by today's standards, so you should have no issues. I've not heard of using Terial Magic in conjunction with a stabilizer. But it probably won't hurt. We've not tested it with our stabilizers, but I would think it would be fine. I assume it's water soluble? I would think it would be over-kill with a small design like this though.
