This particular Solvy is our lightest weight Solvy. Generally used as a topper for computerized embroidery or as a stabilizer for making buttonholes, etc. We have a bunch of Solvy Stabilizers:
Solvy
Super Solvy (twice as heavy as regular Solvy)
Ultra Solvy (4 times as heavy as regular Solvy)
Fabri-Solvy
Sticky Fabri-Solvy
And...two/three printable version:
Sticky Fabri-Solvy
Stick 'n Stitch (this is the same as the above, but packaged for handwork enthusiasts)
and
Paper Solvy - which is the product you would want to use for paper piecing. It looks and feels like paper, but rinses away. It does have a wood pulp component, so you would want to rinse it thoroughly. It is best used for the reverse side of a project (like you would for paper piecing. It can also be torn away, but the whole point is to not have to do that time consuming process. There's a great sale today on a 33-sheets pack if you do a lot of paper piecing.
