Yes, you can use this on the back of towels. But you'll also want a lightweight topper on top, which is the regular Solvy, (lightest weight Solvy) to hold down the nap of the towel so the loops don't poke through the stitching. You could use the Sticky Fabri-Solvy on the top as well, but we do not recommend it - it is overkill and it is more expensive than using the lightest weight. With any topper, I would also baste the layers in place with your baste function on your machine before stitching the embroidery.
