Designers use different stabilizers for this process. We recently have a wonderful sit 'n sew sewing session with Julie Trieb of Designs with Juju, on creating embroidered notecards. It is very comprehensive with many videos throughout. It's an on-demand course available to you 24 hours a day, and forever, once you register.
Create beautiful embroidered greeting cards in the hoop of your embroidery machine. The Session requires enough materials to create six cards, three on a card stock base and three on a Sulky Felty base. Curated by Julie Trieb of Designs by Juju, the supplies include high-quality materials and threads you can use for multiple stitchouts.
To register, go to our educational platform www.sewingonline.sulky.com, and click on Educational Offerings. The In-the-Hoop Greeting Cards event is under "Sewing Sessions" there.
