As you likely know, KK 2000 is not flammable, but is does dissipate with heat. For instance using it for sewing application, when ironed it goes quickly away. Otherwise it lasts 2 to 5 days depending on fabric and climate and storage.
Here's what I've learned from Germany: We do not have experiences using KK2000 or KK100 with the Laser.
What we use is our KKFilm or Thermofix.
But I think it is comparable to the sprays – They glue the fabric together. And I think they want to know if they can laser cut the “glued Fabric”
Hence, when they use the spray far away from the machine (same advice as for embroidery machines) and laser cut the “glued together fabric” I do not think there is any issue doing that.

We cannot guarantee the effect of spray on laser cutters. Consult your user manual for recommendations. KK2000 is a temporary spray that is ozone friendly with no CFC's or HCFC's.
