Can I write with the pen directly onto the fabric, and then heat set it?
Iron-On Transfer Pen - Black
I was considering using these pens to make my own fabric care tags for clothing I made. If I used paper, I would have to write out the instructions backwards, in order to transfer onto the fabric. So writing directly onto the tags would be easiest in my case.

You don't have to write it backwards. Write it or type it on paper from your computer and then hold it up to a window, or lightbox and trace the reverse side. Hope this helps.
