Logic would tell you that yellow would show up on dark colors, but it does not. The fabric colors are suggested to be medium to light. Black might show up on a darker gray, but probably not a fuzzy felt. The fuzz on the felt prohibits the sublimation ink from penetrating into the fibers. I've heard this before with certain felts.
What I would use (if you can rinse the wool) is Sulky Stick 'n Stitch. You can print on it with a copy machine or computer printer (or trace) and then remove the release sheet and smooth onto the felt. Do your stitching, and then rinse the Sulky Stick 'n Stitch and pattern away. You don't even have to stay on the lines. Note: Please do not buy this on Amazon - there is a lot of counterfeit product there for this particular brand.
