For the strap attachment pattern piece, do you cut the pattern out with is placed on the right side of the vinyl ?
Cutting pattern pieces for Dutton bag, when using the printed patterns pieces do you place the printed pattern piece as it is printed and then place on the right side of fabric and cut , particularly the strap attachment ?

I apologize this is such a late reply. I just heard back from Ellen and she said:
Personally, I always cut from the wrong side and I actually outline all the pieces first on the wrong side of the faux leather to make sure I am using the most of the fabric and not cutting it wrong.
