It depends what you would do with it once you have the design on the Stick 'n Stitch. It would not "transfer" per se...but it would adhere to the wood or canvas. If you then wanted to put decorative nails or something like that, you could, and then rinse it away. But what would likely work better for you is the Sulky Iron-On Transfer Pens. They will transfer a line drawing (or more complex art) to canvas or wood (and other things). You would need to use a hot iron to achieve the actual transfer. Instructions are included. The transfer is permanent and will not wash out. They come in 8 colors.
