How can I get the fabric solvy out from under white stitching?

a photo copied an image I drew and printed it out on the solvy and press it on to cotton white fabric. I embroidered with ecru loss. How can I get the solvy out from under the tiny stitches. The black lines on the solvy are showing through. Thank you

You need to thoroughly rinse the product out with warm water, or soak it for a bit in some water and then thoroughly rinse it away. If you did this and the black lines are still showing through, than I suspect the printer ink may have adhered to the floss. You can avoid this by always printing on the lightest (draft) setting on your printer or copy machine. We generally suggest rinsing well, rather than soaking, because some printer inks will float and can "grab" the project when you're lifting it out. Once rinsed, roll the project in a towel tightly and lay flat to dry. If the ink stains do not go away, you can use a laundry stain product like Spray 'n Wash or Shout to treat the stain and then re-rinse it. It may take a couple of treatments. Printer inks vary all over the place in type and quality, so the less ink the better when you print.
