Very hard to tear away stabilizer with small sewing machine stitches
Sulky Totally Stable Stabilizer - White - 12'' x 12 yd. Roll
I am "thread painting" with totally stable iron on tear away stabilizer on the back. It is very difficult to tear the paper away between tiny stitches. I need suggestions please. Thank you!

Yes it is. But the remaining product is acid-free and will not affect the project. There are a couple of other options you could use that might be more aesthetically pleasing to you. One is a permanent lightweight cut-away stabilizer like Sulky Soft 'n Sheer. Or a water soluble product like Sulky Fabri-Solvy, or Sulky Sticky Fabri-Solvy (which has a release sheet and then softly "glues" to the back of the fabric). Both of the those water solubles would require rinsing away, which may not be what you want if this is an art piece.
