If the cashmere is washable, then yes. Most cashmere is hand washable, but check the label. You need to really rinse the Sticky Fabri-Solvy well to remove it. So running water is best. The roll in a towel and lay flat to dry. Depending on how well you rinse, and how much the yarn wants to grab the cashmere it might take a 2nd rinsing, especially if you are not comfortable using warmer water in the rinse.
