Is the needle down when the embroidery finishes? That may be the cause - if the needle isn't raising when the design is done, and the hoop moves, it will drag with the hoop and break. Or perhaps your thread cutter isn't engaged so when the stitchout is complete, the thread is still attached when the hoop moves, causing the needle to drag in a different way. It's difficult to troubleshoot this without more information, but this is my best guess at a starting point. I have tested this design on several machines (Viking, Janome, Brother) and do not have this problem.
