I can't be more precise because:
At the time we introduced the Blendables there were only 60 solid cotton colors in our line (now there’s 200). We wanted more variety than that in the available cottons, so we chose from our 333 (at that time) solid rayon colors. Of course, the dye process is totally different for the Blendables (and secret), and cotton fibers dye differently than rayons, so you can’t exactly match the colors to the solid color cottons or rayons anyway. They wouldn’t match to the solid cottons exactly even if we had had enough colors at the time to choose from. (Does that make sense? – because of the proprietary dye process). We used the rayons as a guide to explain to the dyers what we were looking for in a particular Blendable.
The thing with the Blendables is that they truly do “blend” with lots of different colors. I suggest that people take about a foot of the thread and pool it onto the fabric. You’ll be amazed at how many different fabrics and colors each Blendable thread blends well with.
Also the colors change randomly every 2-1/2” to 5” so you don’t get that “stripey” look you can get with predictable color changes.
I hope this helps you understand why we don’t have that information available.
What might be especially helpful to you though, is to get one of our Cotton Real Thread Charts. They are $25, and this is our cost with no mark-up. The real thread is wrapped for each solid and Blendables color (about ½” wide), as well as an excellent photo of a decorative stitch stitched out with each of the Blendables to give you a truer end-result sample. It also includes all solid 200 solid colors, and a photograph of how each Blendable looks stitches out.
