I inherited thread 943 1109 and tried to hand stitch with it, but it keeps breaking. Is it just too old?
I found it in my mother's sewing box. I tried to use it for mending, but it breaks continuously. I can snap it by barely trying. It is newer than most of her thread, some of them have wooden spools and work just fine! Is rayon just not for that?
